A boat loaded with the nostalgia of memories, preventing the memory from drifting into oblivion, sheltering storms, shipwrecks, but also the sweetness of happy encounters. Such is my vision. Sometimes tossed by the flow of the waves, other times swept away by the violent tides that force me to wander; each of my works restores this continuous journey, in the hollow of my memory, nourishing the wandering of my creation through the canvases. There is a form of narrative, uniting my past with my present, combining melancholy with euphoria, linking resilience with protest, emphasizing not paradox but rather the establishment of balance. Significant events, such as the loss, too prematurely, of a member of the close family circle, swept away by the sea, tearing forever, without hope of healing, a part of my soul. Only perspective, learning to live with the absence of a brother torn from life, continuing to sail even with a part of ourselves amputated, and painting, painting frenetically, relentlessly, as if to defy time that takes hold of those we love, and make them reborn in the colors of my memories. On June 10th 2021 I lost all my work (more than 5000 pieces) in a trgic incendie at my art studio. Since then I been working to create new pieces and series of paintings, sculptures, court-métrages, and drawings.
